Data collected by the extension

The Nova Mind Web Clipper extension may collect the following data when you explicitly activate it:

• Page URL and title — of the page you choose to clip
• Selected text — only when you manually select and clip content
• Full page content — only when you use the "Clip this page" or "Summarize" features
• Authentication token — stored locally in Chrome's storage to keep you signed in to your Nova Mind account

What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your browsing history
• We do not read page content passively or in the background
• We do not track which websites you visit
• We do not share your clipped content with any third party

How data is used

Data collected by the extension is used exclusively to:

• Save clipped content to your personal Nova Mind workspace
• Generate AI-powered summaries and social media posts based on content you explicitly selected
• Maintain your authenticated session with Nova Mind

Data transmission

All data is transmitted securely (HTTPS) to our backend infrastructure powered by Supabase, hosted on servers located in the European Union. No data is sent to any other third party.

Local storage

The extension stores your authentication token locally using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device except to authenticate with Nova Mind servers.

Data retention

Clipped content is retained in your Nova Mind account until you choose to delete it. Authentication tokens are cleared when you log out or uninstall the extension.
